Mama's got the magic of information.

Well, we got some more info on our bubbi a couple days ago. I thought it was a child update, with new height and weight information, an updated picture, etc.

I opened the image file that was attached to the email, and as I was waiting for it to download, I had butterflies in my stomach thinking about what my sweet boy would look like after this past couple months of growth and changes.

And when the image popped up on the screen, it was my agencies logo. No picture of Berynger after all!!!

WHAT?!

I was so disappointed. It wasn't an update at all, but it was still really great information. It was a document all about when he came into care, and what surrounded that, what his circumstances were like, and different situations that he had encountered. It was really neat reading all that, learning more about who he is and what he has experienced so far in his young life.

But, I must admit, I'm still looking forward to an update and seeing that darling face again!

And lastly, here is a little taste of a Feeney fall!

Pumpkin Tested, Mother Approved

I am so excited for Fall and all of the fun things that come with it! Pumpkin patches, costumes, trick or treating, CANDY, fall colors, and family time.

This last couple of weeks has been really fun. We took Brenner to the pumpkin patch and let him choose his own pumpkin. He loved every minute of it! We went through the corn maze, which was fun for Thomas and me, but not really Brenny boy's thing. He was tired of walking about thirty seconds in! (He gets the laziness from me.) We got to make our traditional Halloween cookies with my sweet girlfriend Missy and her kiddos (minus one!), which was a total blast for me. The kids liked it too. :)

And now we're getting all geared up for trick or treating. Brenner is dressing up with his three cousins as the four main characters from The Wizard of Oz. It's going to be super cute, PLUS my cousin is an uber awesome photographer and will get awesome pictures of the whole ordeal. I can't wait! I hope everyone is enjoying this season as much as me. Praise God for the way He created the earth... I'd get way too bored if it was one season all year round!

The patch.

Mommy and Brenner. And a monstrous pumpkin.

Lookin like real farmers in the corn maze.

Look at all the beautiful orange pumpkins. They're everywhere! And Brenner chose the ONLY, 30 lb, ugly, green pumpkin in the whole patch! Just like Brenner, original. :)

Brenner carving his pumpkin. And by Brenner I obviously mean Thomas.

Brenner wanted to paint his pumpkin SO bad. I love how it turned out!

The final product. :)
