Accessorizing Bear

I didn't really buy anything for Brenner when he was small. I got all kinds of hand-me-downs (thank you, Roxanne!) and thrift store specials to help us save money. So, I never really chose things that I liked and I wanted for baby. This time, I'm making up for it. I bought all kinds of adorable customized accessories for Bear, and I'm so excited. Who knew boys could use so many accessories! Buying cute little things seems like something I can do to feel closer to having him home while we are waiting for a court date.

Bear's new burp cloths.

Wet bags. These are for wet cloth diapers when you're out and about,
or you can use them for wet swimsuits and towels. Love 'em!

Some new dishes, by Boon.

Diaper wipes case, bibs, burp cloths,
lovie blanket, and a changing pad. Whew!

The Sound

Yesterday we took a family outing to the Nisqually Nature Research Center. Brenner had a blast, and Thomas and I really enjoyed getting out, seeing the water, and spending good quality time together as a family. The center had aquariums inside where Brenner could climb up on step stools to see the animals of the sound... sea cucumbers, starfish, anemones, etc. Great learning experience for him!

Date Night #2

We had our second date night and it rocked! We went to Chuck E. Cheese and played games, ate pizza, and won some prizes. This was the best idea ever. We had a total blast!

Date Night

Well, Thomas and I have decided to start implementing date night. I'm really excited about this. :) Tonight was our first of many date nights to come, and I have to say that before tonight I honestly don't remember the last time we had a date.

We ended up going to a Seattle Mariner's game, which was great, because Thomas has been wanting to go to one since we moved to this area. We got a babysitter for the youngin, and away we went! It was a lot of fun just being together, and I'm already looking forward to our next date.
On a totally unrelated note... :)
I bought personalized beach towels for the boys. I know, it's not like they need them now, but they are so darn cute! I'm going a little retail therapy crazy this time around... I don't know!!!
